In 1993 Harpoon released a run of 200 cassettes of their first studio recordings, recorded at Zen Studios in Sydney.
The first line up of Harpoon that you hear here played in Sydney , Melbourne , Geelong, Warrnambool, Frankston around 1993/94/95
with acts like Damaged , You Am I ,MassAppeal, Bored, Lizard Train ,Frenzal Romb ,Front End Loader, Hoss and more
Harpoon was referred to at the time in the music press as a 'Sludge Rock' band,
like Blue Cheer or Black Sabbath on valium.
